Two days worked, a severance payment of three months‘ salary received
In a case at the Hessian State Labor Court, I successfully represented a client for whom I achieved this fantastic result.
The background:
My client signed an employment contract in 2021, became pregnant before starting work, and got a prohibition of activity (Tätigkeitsverbot). She went directly into parental leave. She didn’t return to work until mid-2024. On her first day, she received a warning letter, and on her second day, she was dismissed without notice.
Now, we have reached a settlement with the employer at the Hessian State Labor Court.
My client will receive three months‘ salary as severance pay, even though she only worked two days. A sensational success that once again demonstrates: Labor courts are crucial for protecting employees!
